Kristine Micheletti

Dr. Kristine Micheletti joined the Midwest Climate Hub in June 2024 as an ORISE Fellow. She focuses on conducting evaluations and assessments of climate services and other projects affiliated with the hub. Kristine received her PhD in Agricultural Education in 2025 from Iowa State University, where she also completed her M.A. in Anthropology. She holds a B.S. in both zoology and psychology from Drake University. Prior to her work with the Midwest Climate Hub, she worked as an environmental educator and conservation program manager for several conservation agencies in Iowa. She has a variety of research experiences focused on Extension education with youth in urban communities, sustainable agriculture, and wildlife and natural resource conservation. In her free time, Kristine enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and kayaking. When not outside she enjoys reading, painting, and doing puzzles.
