JB Martin was born and raised in Crystal Spring, MS. He has enjoyed his career thus far and looks forward to continuing to spread the word about the good work that NRCS does. He graduated from Alcorn State University with a BS in Agriculture Economics. He currently works as a Conservation Agronomist for the Central National Technology Support Center, and has previously worked in North Carolina as the State Conservationist, as the Deputy State Conservationist, Lakewood, Co, Area Conservationist in Flagstaff, AZ, District Conservationist in Madison, WI, West Burlington, IA and Soil Conservationist in Marshalltown, IA as well. He has spent a lot of time throughout the country seeing the different aspect of Agriculture.
