Susan Eisenhour

Ms. Eisenhour serves as the Southern Plains Climate Hub Coordinator with 21 years of experience working with previous Climate Hub Directors, Laboratory Directors, Research Leaders, scientists, and local stakeholders. In her role, she will assist in maintaining the Climate Hub’s current partnerships, coordinate projects, maintain grants and agreements, and stakeholder activities coordination through the Climate Hub. Ms. Eisenhour will head the Hub's K-12 programs, working closely with several STEM cooperators. Ms. Eisenhour has worked as a Program Support Assistant at the Grazinglands Research Laboratory (GRL). In that position, she has spearheaded multiple stakeholder field days in which she assisted GRL Scientists in communicating with stakeholders and partners on their research in agriculture.

Ms. Eisenhour helped spearhead and manage two major in-person workshops including one on healthy forests and carbon management and regional drought coordinator and impacts. These strengthened relationships with regional partners and stakeholders reinforced the value of the Hub as a source of timely and authoritative information and resources. Ms. Eisenhour is looking forward to building stronger partnerships with stakeholders and cooperators to further communicate the use and availability of climate change tools.
