Managing Agriculture Under Climate and Weather Extremes

In partnership with UC Cooperative Extension, the USDA California Climate Hub is hosting a free workshop in Davis, CA on May 2nd, 2024 for technical service providers who wish to enhance their capacity to help producers respond to climate change. The workshop will present science-based information and provide an opportunity to build cross-agency interactions.

When and Where:

  • Thursday, May 2nd 2024
  • 10:00am to 3:30pm (Lunch will be provided)
  • UC Davis campus at 239 Hopkins Rd., Davis

Workshop participants will be introduced to:

  • Foundational climate knowledge and the effects of climate change on California’s agricultural systems.
  • Interactive web-based tools that can provide insights into the potential effects of climate change on producers.
  • A resource for guiding climate-informed planning and a suite of strategies for responding to evolving environmental challenges.
  • An opportunity to build connections among other professionals in the field.
