Eva Holupchinski is Coordinator of the USDA Caribbean Climate Hub. Eva joined the team in January 2017. Current projects include the coordination of a variety of outreach activities to increase climate literacy and adaptation in the Caribbean, the Caribbean Drought Learning Network, and the co-development of bilingual resources and tools. She is based at the International Institute of Tropical Forestry in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico. Her interests are focused on climate mitigation and adaptation, as well as drought and freshwater resource availability in the face of global climate change. For her master's thesis she analyzed the characteristics of rainfall and meteorological drought in Puerto Rico. Eva holds a masters degree in Environmental Science from the University of Puerto Rico.
