Paloma Rodriguez

I am a fourth-year student from the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras campus majoring in Environmental Sciences. Thanks to my major, I have had the opportunity to learn about multiple subjects such as geology, environmental sustainability, natural resources legal planning, geophysics, and management of aquatic resources. I plan to attend grad school and continue my studies in topics like agriculture and soil management. In addition, I have had the opportunity to participate in research projects, which have strengthened my teamwork skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership. My biggest ambition is to search for ways to develop safer and more sustainable methods for agriculture and soil conservation.
