Bethany Muñoz Delgado

Bethany Muñoz Delgado is the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) co-lead to the USDA Northern Forests Climate Hub and a Natural Resource Specialist at the USDA NRCS Central National Technology Support Center.

As co-lead to the USDA Northern Forests Climate Hub (NFCH), Bethany supports regional and national approaches to better identify, develop, and communicate climate science efforts that are applicable to various audiences and programs of work, within and outside NRCS. She further represents and relays the NRCS mission and vision, and agency priorities, perspectives, and needs to the NFCH.

Originally from Texas, Bethany holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography (Geographic Information Science concentration, Forestry minor) from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science in Forest Resources from Oregon State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Forest Resources from the University of Maine. She has held positions with the Bureau of Land Management, Pocatello Field Office (Idaho), U.S. Forest Service, Northern Research Station (Maine), Farm Production and Conservation – Business Center (Texas), and NRCS (Texas).
