Dr. Jennie Durant is the Acting National Coordinator for the Climate Hubs program. She is also a Science and Technology Policy Fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS-STPF) in USDA’s Office of the Chief Economist.
Prior to joining USDA, Dr. Durant’s research focused on commercial beekeeper management practices, pollinator health, and local and regional farming systems in California. Dr. Durant received a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from University of California, Berkeley, and an MFA and BA from Saint Mary’s College in California.
