U.S. Hosts 2023 Aim for Climate Summit

 

AIM4C summit registrationThe United States will host the AIM for Climate Summit at the JW Marriott on May 8-10, 2023, in Washington, D.C. The Summit, supported by Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR), aims to bring together partners to increase and accelerate investment in and support for agriculture and food systems innovation for climate action.

The Summit is a premier global event “for the partners, by the partners” that will provide a game-changing platform for AIM for Climate partners to raise ambition and amplify their work in climate-smart agriculture and food systems innovation. This event will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, producers, civil society groups, and scientists and researchers worldwide to drive rapid and transformative climate action.

The Summit aims to integrate the following principles into all aspects of the event:

  • Foster and enable co-creation and multi-stakeholder partnership through participatory dialogue, experiential activations and interactions with Summit audience.
  • Ensure people feel heard by elevating all voices, sharing authentic stories and supporting collective action by including gender, youth, indigenous and regional representation.
  • Transmit a message of resilience and hope for the future by showcasing the tremendous possibilities of the 21st century alongside timely provocative topics of local and global significance with a solutions-based approach.
  • Provide a platform to highlight partner contributions to AIM for Climate’s goal and objectives, display domestic and international climate-smart agriculture and food systems innovation priorities, and foster new partnerships towards these aims.
