Emerging Approaches for Widespread Soil Carbon Measurement

This seven-part webinar series brings together scientists and others tackling critical questions that inform how to go about sequestering soil carbon in working lands.

This series is intended for researchers, natural resource professionals, and producers who want to be informed on the science of improving soil management for climate mitigation and adaptation. In part 2, “Emerging Approaches for Widespread Soil Carbon Measurement”, Cristine Morgan (Soil Health Institute) and Jonathan Sanderman (Woodwell Climate Research Center) will share their experiences developing approaches to quantify soil carbon that could enable widespread measurement and monitoring.

This series is sponsored by the International Soil Carbon Network in partnership with the Midwest, Northeast, and Northwest USDA Climate Hubs and the American Geophysical Union.
