Kristina "Tina" Jerome

Kristina "Tina” Jerome has served as Director for NRCS’ East National Technology Support Center (ENTSC) in Greensboro, NC since November of 2020.

The ENTSC provides science and technology focused assistance and training to the 23 states and regions in the Eastern US. Before that she was the State Resource Conservationist for Georgia since 2014, managing the Ecological Sciences Team and the Jimmy Carter Plant Materials Center, by providing support to field planners across the state. Prior to that she was the District Conservationist for the Eastern Shore of Virginia in Accomack and Northampton counties from 2007 to 2014 and Calhoun County in South Carolina from 2006. Tina joined NRCS out of college in 1997 starting as a soil conservationist in Newberry, SC then moving to Loudon, TN. She left the service in 2001 to stay home with her oldest daughter Alexandra Grace until returning to Sumter, South Carolina and NRCS in October of 2005 with three daughters: Alex and twins Jennifer Hope and Jessica Faith. She received her BS from Clemson University in Wildlife Biology in 1996.
